Have you ever wanted to read the Bible but didn't know where to start? What should I study? Who will help me? Making it through the Bible is a challenge, but it's worth it. That's what E100 is all about.
The Essential 100 Challenge (the E100) is a new way to read through the Bible, using carefully selected Bible passages - 50 from the Old Testament and 50 from the New Testament. You'll get the big picture without getting bogged down.
By registering, you will have access to all these tools and more; simply complete the Start Your Journey form to the right and you'll be on your way to start, and finish, the E100 challenge. See you on the trail! (read more)
This Web site has tools designed to help you complete the journey:
Virtual Tracking Card - If you received an E100 Planner from your Chaplain, there is a tracking card attached, which allows you to keep track of each day you complete in your journey. The tracking card is also available online and will help you keep track of your progress.
E-mail Journey - Whether you choose to complete the journey in 100 consecutive days or by reading five passages per week, you can receive an e-mail each day, which includes the Scripture passage, some questions for personal reflection and even a suggested prayer.
Online Journey - If you prefer, you can read the day's passage right here on the Web site. Simply select the day from the virtual tracking card and everything you would receive in an e-mail will appear on the screen.
Audio Journey - If you would rather listen to your daily passage, you can access an audio recording of each day's Scripture and listen to it online or download it to your MP3 player.
Online Communities - Imagine being able to share your journey with others you serve with or with your family. Or, what if you could connect directly with your Chaplain with any questions that might come up as you travel through the Bible? This is available to you through a special Facebook community which has been set up just for you.
